In «Sisamu Sociedade Limitada» (commercially designated, "Sisamu") we know that you care about how your ' personal data ' are used and shared, and we take your privacy seriously. Please read the following privacy policy to learn more about how we collect, store, use and disclose information about you when you interact or use our website or when you use any of our services.

What does this privacy policy safeguard?

This privacy policy covers our ' treatment ' of ' personal data´ that we collect when you access or use our site services or when you contact us in any way. We gather several types of information, including information that identify you as an individual (personal data), as explained below in more detail. 

What information does the Sisamu collect? 

Information you provide to us: 

When you use our site: : we may collect any personal information that you choose to send us or provide us with, for example, by email or "subscribe to newsletter". If you contact us through our website, we will keep a record of the correspondence. This information includes your name, email address, IP address, phone number, as well as details including location and other demographic information. By giving us this information, the user consents to our ' subcontractors ' services (for example OneTrust -privacy management software based in the United States, Mailchimp – email marketing management platform, based in the United States, PTEmpresas technical support platform of electronic communications, based in Portugal and Sage - accounting management system and billing processes, based in United Kingdom) collect, use, disclose, transfer and store for us this data, as described in this privacy policy.

When resort to our services: we receive and store information that you provide to us directly for an indefinite period of time, unless otherwise expressed by the user. For example: at Sisamu, we collect ' personal data ', such as name, e-mail address, number of taxpayer , in the context of the issuance of invoices for a period limited to one year. The types of information we may collect directly from this access include tax information, judicial, financial, and professional, as well as any contact or other information you choose to provide or send for systems in connection with our services.

Information we collect automatically:

When you use our site: when you visit our site, we collect certain information related to the device, such as your IP address, navigation time, operating system, browser ID, navigation activity, and other information about how the user interacts with our website. We can collect this information as part of log files, as well as through the use of cookies or other tracking technologies. Our use of cookies and other tracking technologies are presented below and in more detail in our cookie policy.

When resort to our services: maintain control of client activity in relation to the types of services required and collect additional information, as the TIN (tax identification number), usernames and passwords for access to the technical support platform of electronic communications. We collect this information as part of the service for billing purposes, management and configuration of services.

How we use the information:

Website: we use the information we collect through our website to:

            - Administer our website, events and internal operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, tests, statistics and             research;

            - To improve our website and ensure that the content is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your device;

            - Analysis of site usage to monitor trends, marketing and advertising;

            - For clarity to the user at the moment sends your information (for example, to fulfill your request) or to provide you with             information about our services;

            - As part of our effort to keep the site secure.

Services: we may use the information we collect from our customers in connection with the services to:

            - Provide, operate and maintain the services;

            - Process and send information related to wire transfers receipts and invoices;

            - Manage the use of the services of our customers, respond to questions and comments, and provide customer service and             customer support;

            - Send alerts, updates, technical security notifications and administrative communications to customers;

            - For any other purposes on which we notify customers and users.

We may also use the information you send us via the site and/or services to communicate with you via email and, possibly, other media, in connection with the services and events that we think may be of your interest or to send you our newsletter, if it is according to your marketing preferences. However, you will always be able to opt-out of such communications at any time (see the section "update your preferences or remove your email address from this list "at the bottom of the messages”).

 How do we share and disclose information to third-party?

We do not rent or sell your personal information to anyone. We can only share and disseminate information (including ' personal data ') about our customers under the following circumstances and in a limited way:

Suppliers and consultants of services: we may share your information with suppliers and consultants who provide services to us to perform tasks on our behalf. These companies include: OneTrust - privacy management software, Mailchimp - email marketing management platform, PTEmpresas – technical support platform of electronic communications, Google Analytics - analytical platform site and Sage - accounting management system and billing processes. 

When the Sisamu gets your ' personal data ', subsequently, transfer this information to an agent of «third parties», service provider for processing, and the burden of responsibility carried over to this same agent who will be responsible to ensure the privacy of the data processing of your personal information according to the standard required by the “Regulamento Geral da Proteção de Dados (RGPD) “(see the section below "international data transfers"). Unless we tell you differently, and you consent, our agents do not have any right to use personal information we share with them beyond what is necessary to assist us.

Business transfers: we may choose to buy or sell assets, and we may share and/or transfer customer information in connection with the assessment and entry into such transactions. In addition, if we (or our assets) are acquired, if we get out of the business, we went into bankruptcy, or been through any other change of control, personal information may be one of the transferred assets or purchased by a "third party".

Sisamu protection and others: we reserve the right to access, read, preserve, and disclose any information required to comply with the law or a court order; enforce or apply our agreements and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety, our employees, our suppliers, or other.

Disclosures for National Security or Law Enforcement: in certain circumstances, we may be obliged to disclose your "personal data" in response to valid requests by public authorities, including meeting national security or law enforcement requirements.

Is the personal information about me safe?

We use appropriate technical, organisational and administrative security measures to protect any information we have in our loss records, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. Unfortunately, no company or service can guarantee complete security. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of your user information at any time. Among other practices, their ' personal data ' are allocated to ' third party ' systems and platforms, protected by a password in order to maintain privacy and security. We prevent unauthorized access to the platforms where we keep your "personal data" by selecting and protecting the password appropriately and limiting access to the computer or device with password and browser, ending the session after we've finished accessing the accounts.

Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit our site, what pages they visit, and what other sites they have used before visiting ours. If you have purchased any of our services, we will still send you non-promotional communications, such as services-related emails.

How can I update and access my information (exercise my rights related to my data)?

If you wish to access, revise, update, rectify and delete any personal data that we have about you, or exercise the right to any other matter related to the availability of the data under the general Rules of information protection ( RGPD), you can click on the "EXERCISE YOUR RIGHTS" link available at the top of our Privacy Policy page, or fill out this Web form directly.

Please note that we may still use any aggregated and unidentifiable personal information that does not identify any individual, and that you may also retain and use your information as necessary to fulfill our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

International Data Transfers

The ' personal data ' that you send through our website is sent to the United States and will be primarily treated in the United States and potentially in other countries, by ' third parties ' hosting the cloud on our behalf. These countries may not have data protection laws similar to those of your country of residence. However, our privacy management and mail marketing platforms ensure protection of your information in accordance with the “General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) “wherever it is handled.

Linked Websites

For your convenience, there may be links on our website linking to other websites. We are not responsible for, and these privacy practices do not apply to, any linked sites or any companies that we do not own or control. Linked sites may collect information beyond what we collect on our site. We do not endorse any of these linked sites, the services or products described or offered on such sites, or any of the content contained on those sites. We encourage you to search and read the privacy policy of each linked site you visit to understand how your "personal data" is collected, used and protected.

Children

We do not collect or solicit ' personal data ' from anyone under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, please do not attempt to send any personal information about yourself to us. If we know that we collect "personal data" from a child under the age of 13, we will delete that information as soon as possible. If you believe that a child under the age of 13 may have provided us with ' personal data ' please contact us at support@sisamu.pt.

Is Sisamu ever going to change this privacy policy?

We are constantly trying to improve our website and services, so it may be necessary to change this privacy policy from time to time. We will alert you to substantial changes, for example by placing a notice on our website and/or sending you an email (if your email contact is registered in our database) when we are required to do so by applicable law. The user can see when this privacy policy was last updated by checking the date at the top of this page. The user is responsible for periodically reviewing this privacy policy.
